The purpose of BERHAN Ethiopian Web-site (Home Page) is two fold:

First and Foremost: To proclaim to all that read, and in particular to those of Ethiopian descent, the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hope and pray that those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, will find Him through these pages pointing to the Word of God.

Jesus is the only answer to ALL of life's questions and He is asking "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28. We hope all those who read this give Him a chance to make a difference in their lives. We have provided some reading material for you. But we encourage you to read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark ,Luke, or John) and get to know this wonderful friend personally.

Second: The other purpose is to provide Ethiopian evangelical Christians with the tools for growth in the deeper understanding of God's Word. As was stated by Jesus, it is not enough to just believe we must grow in our daily walk. We believe it is imperative that Christians grow in the Word to combat false teachings (Which are too numerous these days). We have carefully selected sites that we believe will strengthen your faith as well as challenge you.

BERHAN is not part of any denomination, however, we encourage all to regularly attend a Bible believing Christian Church, no matter how imperfect the people in it may be. We hope to list Ethiopian Churches and fellowships in North America and in Europe in the near future. Please provide us with the addresses of Ethiopian Churches in your are.
